About our speaker
Thomas Tan joined AIA Group in January 2020 as part of the Funds Team after spending 16 years in the financial industry. His key responsibilities include product sales and marketing. Thomas started his career managing affluent clients’ wealth before moving on to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Academy.
Thereafter he joined OCBC Wealth Management - Wealth Advisory team as its pioneer member specialising in multi-asset advisory to high net-worth clients as well as legacy and estate planning. Over the course of 8 years with OCBC, Thomas supported the Premier Private Clients (PPC) segment as its Senior Wealth Advisor before moving to lead the Advisory and Specialists team.
Before joining AIA, Thomas started a financial training and consultancy business with a partner. Thomas is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charter holder.
